Here, have some videos

Just in case y’all were wondering (and I know you were), I was off snowboarding in Hakuba this weekend. And, because I love you so much, here’s a picture.

Fireworks!
Fireworks!!!!

And don’t forget to watch the vids I took (small and short, blame the cell phone) of the festival that happened on Saturday. You can see taiko and fireworks! They’re behind the cut.

Oh, and since I now officially have my computer back and in working order (the explanation on that one is coming soon, I promise) I’m going to get back to what’s important: Final Fantasy XI. So if you don’t see the conclusion to my Beauty Myth series, or other important posts, anytime soon… well, can you really blame me? I mean, come on, I had an entire month with only my consoles to console me (no pun intended… really).

Anyway, don’t forget to go to the cut to watch the totally awesome videos I took.

Taiko drums in the darkness

Taiko drums this time with the lights on!

Fireworks… with music!

Way to not email me when you’re in the area :-D

  2. Thanks for sharing the videos! They’re fabulous.

Kevin: You’re assuming that, you know, I had time for that. The weekend was literally going from one thing to the next and then suddenly I was on my way home haha

100littledolls: Thanks! I only wish that I had a better camera, because the cell phone just can’t capture things well… There were people on SKIS and SNOWBOARDS carrying TORCHES. But the videos I took of that just aren’t good enough :(

Do you hear that? It’s the sound of my heart breaking into a thousand pieces.

March 17th, Hakuba, in? What better way to celebrate St. Patty’s day?

Aww. Here, have the smallest violin. You know what song it’s playing.

It does sound nice, but the prospect of a three hour train ride, changing trains in like 3 different places… not so much. But we definitely have to get together again soon.

Speaking of which, is there anything in particular you’d want me to bring back for you from the States? I’ll be down for two weeks in the end of March.

Nope but thanks for the offer :-). Have fun!
