That said, I agree that the ad is disturbing. On the one hand, lot's of women wear makeup, and might be interested in non-corporate, cruelty free makeup. So I guess an ad telling them about it is useful. 

On the other hand, let's face it: The ads are part of what makes makeup feel manditory, rather than like good chose-it-for-myself fun.</description>
